About Us
The forty five members of the Twin Cities Master's Chorale come from the greater Twin Cities area and are committed to faithfully and humbly serving God through presentations of the very best in sacred music. Founded in 1992 under the name Cantati Evangelica, they have been hosted for concerts in churches from a great variety of denominations - Evangelical Covenant, Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, Catholic, Presbyterian, among others.
They perform on a free-will offering basis.
A concert by the Chorale consists of traditional choral anthems, spirituals, hymn arrangements, and portions of major sacred compositions. In recent years they have performed MESSIAH by Handel, several J. S. Bach cantatas, CHRISTMAS CANTATA by Daniel Pinkham, and GLORIA by John Rutter. During the 2010-2011 season they presented portions of the Bach motet #3, Jesu, meine Freude, and the Five Mystical Songs of Vaughan Williams.
TWIN CITIES MASTER'S CHORALE is an official non-profit, tax exempt 501 (c) 3 organization. All contributions to TCMC are tax deductible. The Chorale is dependent on concert offerings, member dues, and donations from friends.
